'You is sleep or you can sleep': Students prank Benglauru's 'pookie professor' in viral video

An Instagram video is winning hearts on the internet. Shared by students at Bengaluru’s Christ University , the video shows them pranking their teacher. It starts with depicting two students deliberately arguing in the class. The professor approaches them, asking them what the conflict is about. To this, one of the students replied saying: “Sir, you tell me. Which is correct grammar -
“You is sleep or You can sleep.”

Unaware that he is being pranked, the teacher replies “You can sleep”. The next moment, every student in the class simultaneously put their heads down on their desks, pretending to fall asleep.

Realizing that he had been pranked, the professor reacted with a smile, asking if he was being recorded. Informed that he was on camera, he turned towards it and waved, instantly charming the audience.
