Former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria has made a scathing attack on his country's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and blames him for the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam that left 26 dead.
"If Pakistan truly has no role in the Pahalgam terror attack , why hasn’t Prime Minister @CMShehbaz condemned it yet?," Kaneria, who has played 61 Tests for Pakistan wrote on X.

"Why are your forces suddenly on high alert? Because deep down, you know the truth — you’re sheltering and nurturing terrorists. Shame on you."
A widespread condemnation of the heinous terror attack, the deadliest act of violence since the 2019 Pulwama tragedy, and condolences for the victims, and their anguished families came from international leaders, as well as by notable figures in the cricketing world and prominent people from other industries.
In response to the terror attack, India has announced a series of significant measures:
Who's that IPL player?
India has suspended the Indus Waters Treaty , halting the annual flow of approximately 39 billion cubic meters of water from the Indus River system into Pakistan.
The Attari-Wagah border, a vital link for trade and people-to-people exchange, has been immediately closed. Pakistani nationals currently in India have been instructed to depart before May 1, 2025.
Travel for Pakistani nationals to India under the SAARC Visa Exemption Scheme is now prohibited, and all previously issued visas have been revoked. Those currently in India have been given 48 hours to leave the country.
India has also requested Pakistan to significantly reduce its diplomatic staff in New Delhi to a maximum of 30 personnel, a substantial decrease from the current 55-person mission.
