Varun Dhawan tied the knot with his long-time love, Natasha Dalal, amidst close family and friends at an intimate wedding ceremony in February 2021. He chose the personalised get-together over grand celebrations.
The couple did not seem to discuss their relationship or marriage over the next couple of days. Varun has opened up about his decision and expressed that he never wanted a lavish event. "I never wanted any sort of elaborate ceremony. In our case, so many elderly relatives attended, and my first concern was their safety," Varun added.
He also said that such a low-key marriage ceremony reflected both his and Natasha's personalities. "My personal life has always been private," Varun said, adding that Natasha too would shy away from the glamour and glitz associated with a celebrity wedding.
Memories of their time together just flowed out in an interview with Natasha. She said that she and Varun were school friends, though they remained close up to mid-twenties, after which good friendship blossomed into romance right before she had to leave. It was only then that they discovered that the good feeling they had towards each other went beyond friendship.
As they embarked on their new life together, Varun had some exciting lineup of projects in the works. Just after their wedding, he starred in Dinesh Vijan's 'Bhediya'' along with Kriti Sanon, generating much buzz among fans. Currently, Varun is all set to cater his fans with his new series 'Citadel Honey Bunny' which will be streaming on Amazon Prime video from Nov 7.
Varun and Natasha welcomed a beautiful daughter on June 3,2024. Varun took it to his instagram and posted an adorable video breaking this news among his fans and followers.
