The "Attention" singer confirmed his marriage to longtime love Brooke Sansone in a heartfelt social media post, just a day after rumours swirled about their private ceremony.
In a series of dreamy photos, Puth gave a glimpse into his intimate wedding. The bride dressed in a dramatic white body con gown while the groom rocked a stylish black suit with lace border detailing.
In a touching note to his new wife, Charlie wrote, "I love you Brooke…I always have. With you, I am my very best. I promise I’ll love you every day in this life, and even more when we move on to our next. Brooke Ashley Sansone, and now you’ll be Brooke Ashley Puth. Thank you for making me the happiest man alive. It has always been you."
The couple sparked buzz earlier in the week when they were spotted with the gold bands during an outing on September 15, fueling speculation that they had tied the knot in a private ceremony.
In a statement to Vogue Weddings, the couple opened up about their 'intertwined' lives and their decades-old friendship that evolved. "Our fathers attended elementary school together, and we both grew up in New Jersey," Brooke told the portal and went on to add, "There was always a spark and chemistry between us, but the timing never seemed to work out—until it did. It’s like an invisible string was always there, showing us that timing is everything."
Following the wedding, the pair was spotted aboard a boat, sporting matching gold wedding bands as they cruised around the romantic Lake Como in Italy, known for attracting honeymooners.
The two started dating in June of 2022, and after a little over a year together. Their wedding comes just a year after Puth announced his engagement to Sansone. In September 2023, the singer took to Instagram to share the happy news, posting a photo of Brooke flashing her pear-cut diamond engagement ring. "She said yes," Puth captioned the post, adding, "I am the happiest, best version of myself and it is all because of you, Brookie."
