UPSC ESE 2025 reopens application window at upsc.gov.in, extends deadline to November 22

Send Push
UPSC ESE 2025 : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has reopened the application window for the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025. Originally, the application process ended on October 8, 2024, but the deadline has now been extended to November 22, 2024, allowing new candidates to apply.

This decision follows the government's announcement that the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) recruitment will now be included in ESE for certain sub-cadres, such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Signal & Telecommunication, and Stores. As a result, the UPSC had initially halted the correction window after the notification in September.

Candidates who applied between September 18 and October 8, 2024, need not reapply but can modify their details in the new application window if required. Additionally, a correction window will be available from November 23 to November 29, 2024, for further updates.

UPSC ESE 2025: Important Dates
To accommodate the changes, the ESE 2025 exam dates have been postponed. The preliminary exam will now be held on June 8, 2025, with the main examination scheduled for August 10, 2025.

UPSC has issued an addendum to the ESE 2025 rules on October 18, 2024, and applicants are encouraged to review these updates before applying.

For more details, candidates can visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
