The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the Stage 1 entrance examination for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) 2025. The exam was conducted for admission to undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and Ph.D. programmes for the academic year 2025-26. Candidates can check their results on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT.
The Stage 1 results have been released for all programmes except Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech.), which will be declared separately later. The examination was held on February 9, 2025, in 91 centres across 81 cities in India. Depending on the course, the entrance exam was conducted in either Computer Based Test (CBT) or Paper Based Test (PBT) mode.
NIFTEE 2025 stage 1 result: Steps to check Candidates can view their result status online through the NIFT entrance portal hosted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Follow the steps below:
Step 1. Visit the official NIFT entrance exam portal, exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT.
Step 2. Click on the link for 'NIFTEE 2025 Stage 1 Result'.
Step 3. Enter your application number and date of birth.
Step 4. Submit the details to view your result.
Step 5. Download and save the result for future reference.

NIFTEE 2025: Shortlisting details and stage 2 processThe shortlisting for Stage 2 has been done based on the candidate's performance in Stage 1, as per the approved category-wise seat matrix and selection criteria set by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).
Shortlisting has been done in a 1:4 ratio (one seat: four candidates) category-wise. For Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates, only those who scored at least 50% of their respective category’s cut-off marks have been shortlisted.
Based on their programme, candidates will see one of the following statuses displayed online:
