Ex-RS member from Mizoram Tlau dies at 71

Aizawl: Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) vice-president and former Rajya Sabha member Ronald Sapa Tlau died at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on Wednesday due to heart ailment after he underwent an open heart surgery.

Tlau was 71. He is survived by his wife, Ramthanpari Tlau, and two sons and one daughter.

Family sources said arrangements are being made to bring his body to Aizawl on Thursday evening by flight and a funeral will be held on Friday.
