Prayagraj: In a unique display showing, narrating the valour shown by Indian soldiers, a group of swimmers and students on Friday took out a Tiranga Yatra at Meerpur Sindhu Ghat, Kakra Ghat, and Bargad Ghat in the river Yamuna. The swimmers and students, carrying the tricolour, shouted slogans to praise the Indian armed forces and brave women security forces officials.
A series of Tiranga Yatras are being organised at various places across the country following the success of Operation Sindoor to highlight the bravery of the Indian armed forces during the recent military action against terror camps and military sites in Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack. To honour and encourage the valour shown by the Indian soldiers and women armed forces officers in Operation Sindoor, swimmers and students of the Uttar Pradesh Trekking and Canoeing Association organised the special event. About 50 people of all age groups, including men and women, participated in the event and kept moving forward, chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai' and ‘Vande Mataram' while swimming.
