Prayagraj: Taking a swipe at Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav over the recent poster "Sattadhish of 27", Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Friday said those who could not run the cycle in the 2022 assembly polls were dreaming of gaining power in 2027 polls.

"Jo 2022 mai cycle nahin chala paye who 27 mai sattadhish ka khawab dekh rahe hain. The SP president's dream of 'Sattadhish of 27' will be shattered, and BJP is going to win all nine seats in the bypolls across the state and the 2027 assembly polls as well. The alliance between SP and Congress has broken and those who join either SP or Congress, always face defeat," he said.

Maurya was in Sangam City on Friday to take part in the nomination of party candidate Deepak Patel who has been fielded by BJP for the Phulpur bypoll.

He claimed that now people want to come with BJP.

Maurya added: "After registering a historic triumph in Haryana state assembly polls, BJP is also going to register its win in Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly polls."

The DyCM added that the Haryana assembly polls triumph has generated new energy among party functionaries while commotion has been witnessed in Samajwadi Party and Congress circles.

Maurya claimed that voters of Phulpur will give their blessings to Deepak Patel.

"Party functionaries have joined hands to ensure the historic win of Patel in the Phulpur bypoll. The assembly of a large number of supporters during the nomination process has proved that no one could stop the lotus from blooming in the Phulpur bypoll," he said.

Patel filed his nomination papers in four sets.
