Pickleball has been one of the fastest growing sports around the world. It has seen a massive surge in popularity and has been very popular with all kinds of people. The racquet sport is spreading across the world but in the USA it has a huge base. Pickleball has quickly become a household sport for its less complicated game style and it has also started influencing other big sports. A number of former tennis players including Andre Agassi, are very invested in the sport. To keep up with the latest trend, MLB giants Cincinnati Reds are also set to arrange a pickleball party & Pro-Am on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Sawyer Point Pickleball Courts. People of all age groups can attend the event which will consist of a clinic, Open Play and a Pro-Am Tournament. An Official press relase mentions, “Each participant will receive a swag bag. “Reds mascots and a DJ will be on-site along with food trucks plus drinks and snacks will be available to purchase. “All participants are responsible for bringing their own equipment. The event will provide pickleballs. “There is no cost for spectators to attend.” For Clinic and Open Play interested participants need to shell out $50 each while for the Pro-Am Tournament the cost is $150. Recently, Pickleball League Asia Private Limited in association with The Times Group launched the Pickleball World Rankings (PWR) at a grand event in Dubai on July 24. PWR will improve sports governance and future longevity by uniting regional groups under a single, cohesive structure. The announcement was made by PWR at the event attended by Vineet Jain, MD -The Times Group & Chancellor, Bennett University, Pranav Kohli, CEO & Founder of PWR, the world’s top Pickleball players, including women’s world number 1 on APP Tour Megan Fudge DeHeart, and other prominent personalities from international Pickleball community.
