Former President Donald Trump reportedly made a crass joke about a man who died at his Butler, Pennsylvania rally. The Guardian on Friday cited a recording to report that the Republican presidential nominee joked about Corey Comperatore after he spoke to his widow at a private meal on August 10 in Aspem, Colorado. Trump's campaign is yet to react to the newly surfaced recording. In the recording, The Guardian added, Trump recalled his meeting with Comperatore's wife. The firefighter was fatally shot when Thomas Crooks fired at the former president on July 13. Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Rep Lauren Boebert, Steve Wynn, and billionaire Thomas Peterffy attended the event, which required couples to put up $500,000 to serve on the host committee or at least $25,000 to attend. Trump arrived at the venue on a private jet, which was once owned by Jeffrey Epstein. The Daily Beast cited a source to report that Donald Trump appeared 'disciplined' and was 'funny' at the dinner in Aspen.
