X Factor star announces engagement to footballer Darren Randolph

X Factor sensation Alexandra Burke is set to walk down the aisle with her beau Darren Randolph after a romantic proposal.

The 36 year old songstress, who clinched the X Factor title, has been in a blissful relationship with the 37 year old goalkeeper since April 2021.

The couple, already proud parents to two children born in June 2022 and September 2023, are now gearing up for their next big adventure as husband and wife.

Their engagement was joyfully announced on social media last Sunday, with both Alexandra and Darren sharing heartwarming snaps of the proposal moment on Instagram, complete with diamond ring emojis.

They also posted an enchanting video showcasing the venue where Darren got down on one knee, accompanied by a caption brimming with excitement: "Here's to us forever! I can't believe I get to marry my best friend. Bring on the Burke-Randolph wedding. I can't wait to call you my husband."
