Victor Osimhen fires message to Chelsea and Arsenal after Tottenham demolition

Victor Osimhen is once again making waves on the European football scene, serving as a stark reminder to and of his transfer potential. The Nigerian striker, who was previously linked with both London clubs during his time at , has been in fine form despite a high asking price that initially dampened interest.

Instead, Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres became the focus for both clubs. Last summer, Osimhen was told to find a new club but failed to secure a move before the transfer window closed across most of Europe.

However, he was snapped up by Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal. Despite only netting four times since his move, Osimhen has played a crucial role in Galatasaray's rise to the top of the Turkish league and their strong start in the Europa League.

His first goal came after an error from Radu Dragusin, with Osimhen neatly finishing a first-time effort. His second followed shortly after, volleying home a cross from Dries Mertens.

The 25-year-old had four shots on target in the first half and also saw another effort ruled out. In just 45 minutes, Osimhen reminded everyone of his talent, a performance that could be pivotal in determining his future.

Upon leaving Naples for Turkey, he inked a new deal until 2027 that includes a break clause which can be activated in January and a new release clause believed to be around £66.6million. Compared to previous summers, Osimhen could now leave for half the price Napoli previously demanded.

Sesko and Gyokeres could cost in that region with recent revelations suggesting the latter may leave Sporting for as little as £50million.

Gyokores is likely the preferred target of both Arsenal and Chelsea, with Manchester United also potentially interested due to the imminent arrival of However, Osimhen remains an option.

Just two days after the Swede netted a hat-trick against Manchester City, another striker target is doing his best to match that feat.
