pro Kai Widdrington always aces his dance steps - and now he's decided to introduce some of his most magical moves to the public on It Takes Two.
He attached a video of his first ever demonstration to a new Instagram post - and fans were loving it, as he vowed his steps were "final" material. "Had a wonderful time presenting my first ever choreography corner with the wonderful @fleureast," he shared.
"Swipe for the most informative demonstration of the jive rock step you've ever seen." , who partnered with on the show in 2022, quickly picked up the moves as she shimmied around him in her pale grey jumpsuit to the sound of cheers from fans.
The TV appearance comes after Kai failed to receive a partner for this year's Strictly, leaving him admitting he was disappointed. The omission marked his first year without an official dance partner since he first joined in 2021.
His first year was a blaze of glory, seeing him reach the final with 's AJ Odudu - and some feel that, were it not for AJ's ankle injury forcing her to pull out, they would have become the overall winners. However, the following year, his lucky spell abruptly ended when he and 's were the first couple to be booted out.
He was subsequently paired up with presenter Angela Rippon as he aced the 2023 series, which was ultimately won by ex-Corrie star and her pro partner .
This year Kai tried to remain positive as he despaired: "Everyone wants to get a celebrity. Unfortunately it wasn't my time this series."
He continued: "Two boys couldn't have one this series and sadly I am one of them. Some of us don't get partners and that's the way it is."
Kai also attracted interest for his relationship with fellow Strictly pro and tour co-star Nadiya Bychkova, but
In spite of that, he's been inundated with support from some of his impressive 243,000 strong follower list.
"Had a s*** day till you hit the screen," one fan enthused, telling him he'd cheered her up.
"Yes we need you on choreography corner every week! Still gutted you didn't get a partner this year but we enjoy watching you in the group dances. Our favourite pro!" chimed in another.
A third wondered if teaching and hosting could be his calling, quizzing: "Is this the next move for Kai? I hope so, people need to see more of you!"
