Prince Harry faced with 'ultimate test' as Duke warned after King Charles meeting

Prince Harry is faced with the "ultimate test" after his latest meeting with his father, King Charles, in London, a royal commentator has claimed. The Duke of Sussex was back in the UK for four days this week, attending various engagements linked to his charities.

But on Wednesday, he paused his official appearances to meet with his father, whom he hasn't seen in person in 19 months, at his private residence, Clarence House, in London. Father and son spent 55 minutes together over a private tea; however, neither side disclosed further details of the meeting.

Now, a royal commentator has warned the Duke about his next moves, claiming they will "make or break" any future chances of reconciliation with the royals.

The Daily Mail's Richard Eden said: "The big test is whether Prince Harry can keep quiet about what they spoke about during this private meeting.

"The Palace wants to see that he can be trusted, that he won't give out details and neither will his spokesman, or sources close to Harry and Meghan.

"So over the next few days we're going to find out. Do details leak out or does it remain a secret? That's the big test."

He added, "The reason it's such a big test is because time and time again in the past, we've had examples of private conversations being leaked.

"Personally, I think Harry will want to try to keep this private because we know that he's desperate to restore relations with the Royal Family. But whether he can or not really does remain to be seen."

Meanwhile, a PR expert hailed Harry's recent trip as the perfect blueprint for the future.

Renae Smith, founder of PR agency The Atticism, told the Express: "The meeting with his father was also handled well. It wasn't dramatic, it didn't spark gossip, and that quieter energy is exactly what he needs. If I were advising him, I'd be calling this trip a huge success, it ticked every PR box."
