Premier League star wants VAR scrapped after Chelsea controversy

Ryan Sessegnon has rallied around his "little brother" Josh King and claimed he wants VAR scrapped. The 18-year-old attacking midfielder was denied his maiden Fulham goal in a heated west London derby on Saturday after Rodrigo Muniz inadvertently trod on Trevoh Chalobah's foot.

A deflated Sessegnon remains convinced the decision was unfair as he praised Marco Silva's teenage starlet, declaring: "He's a top, top talent. In my opinion, the best to come out of our academy, technically.

"He's like my little brother, I'm always trying to guide and help him but he makes me feel a bit old as he was born in 2007!" Sessegnon also conceded a spot-kick after inadvertently blocking Chalobah's delivery with his arm.

Nevertheless, he believes the ruling shouldn't have been upheld as Joao Pedro handled in the build-up and Moises Caicedo caught Alex Iwobi before the incident.

When questioned if he wants rid of VAR, the versatile left-back responded: "100 per cent, yeah. Again, it's hard to put into words how frustrating it is.

"Obviously when my hand is that high, it's always going to be a penalty with the laws these days but with the little things before, it just doesn't add up."
