One McFly star has said he would never sign up to I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! despite his bandmates making some memorable appearances on the ITV jungle show. While Dougie Poynter was crowned King of the Jungle in 2011 and Danny Jones followed suit in 2024, drummer Harry Judd said that there is "not a fee big enough" for him or his wife, Izzy, to take part.
Tom Fletcher's wife, Giovanni, won the Ant and Dec hosted show back in 2020 but Izzy said she would "absolutely" not follow in her footsteps as she couldn't think of anything worse than doing the show. Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Harry joked: "I think you'd need the world record fee ever paid to get Izzy to do it!" He added: "I don't think I would do it either. I think it would be quite overwhelming. The thought of flying out to Australia and just been put in a jungle for three weeks."
Speaking about his decision to never give it a go, the 39-year-old musician continued: "The thing that scares me the most is the hunger. Danny and Dougie said that the hunger and the boredom are just like unbearable. I wouldn't be able to have my cereal and milk every night!
"And the other thing is, I don't think I'm the kind of personality that would win that show. Dougie is brilliant and endearing and loveable and Danny is just big with loads of charisma and a big old smile. But I think I'd be a bit grumpy. I'm not sure it's the show for me!"
Harry has recently reunited with his bandmates as McFly and Busted go head to head in an epic battle of the bands. They are touring the UK until the end of Novemeber to deliver some of their biggest hits to the nation.
Despite the pop star's busy schedule, the Judds have also teamed up with Holland & Barrett. It comes as research commissioned by H&B showed the impact of back-to-school bugs on parents & children, including that two-thirds of working parents (65%) say they miss work at least once per term as a result of their child's illness.
Speaking about why they got involved, Izzy said: "If something falls off balance, then the whole family falls off balance. Especially with Harry away [on tour with McFly].
"You find you're juggling everything else in and then if you throw illness into the mix then all plans just fall apart and it's really tough. So keeping us all happy and healthy is more important than ever."
