Jeremy Clarkson slams Keir Starmer over freebies in brutal dig

Jeremy Clarkson is the latest person to wade in on the debate over Keir Starmer receiving gifts.

The Clarkson's Farm host shared his thoughts after reports last week stated Prime Minister Keir Starmer received a reported £100,000 in freebies.

It was revealed that Starmer would no longer watch Arsenal play in the stands and after further fury, he told ITV News: "I've had season tickets at Arsenal for a long time now, where I've gone with my boy and my friends for year after year after year. Now I'm prime minister the security advice is that I can't go into the stands.

"Or if I did you'd have to put so much sort of security in that it would cost the taxpayer a fortune. As a result, I've been offered tickets elsewhere in the ground where it's more secure.

"We don't have to use taxpayer money on additional security. That's why I've taken the decision I have."

But despite his best defence, he's still come under fire from various people, including Clarkson. He wrote in his column in The Sun that in the "socialist world" there would be no directors' box at Arsenal.

Clarkson added: "Because all the animals are equal. But some, as we know, are more equal than others. And as a result, our glorious leader says he needs to be in a warm room, with nice sandwiches.

Clarkson added: "He argues that it would be too difficult for his securutiy team to operate in the stands."

He then compared him to Rishi Sunak, adding: "Let's not forget that when Snowball Sunak was running the show, he used to watch his beloved Southampton from the stands. And his security guys seemed to manage."
