French Open LIVE: Daniil Medvedev threatens to skip events as Novak Djokovic dug out

Day three of the promises to be another action-packed affair, with the likes of Novak Djokovic, Coco Gauff and Jack Draper all taking to the Roland Garros courts. Jannik Sinner booked his place in the second round last night, surviving a scare to eventually down Arthur Rinderknech in straight sets.

British number three Cameron Norrie is also in action against Daniil Medvedev in an early potential thriller, fresh off his Geneva semi-final run and hard-fought defeat to Djokovic. They will be looking to join the likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Jacob Fearnley, who all claimed wins yesterday.

Sonay Kartal also takes on Erika Andreeva, attempting to join fellow Brits Katie Boulter and Emma Raducanu in the second round, with the pair having set up clashes with Madison Keys and Iga Swiatek respectively.
