Fox News halted for breaking announcement and it's devastating for Joe Biden

was paused for a breaking news announcement - and it's potentially devastating for former US president . The right-wing news channel had the latest on the exposé by 's Jake Tapper that Biden hid his declining health while in charge of the United States, and now Colmer is conducting a full investigation.

After Biden's prostate cancer diagnosis went public, questions were raised about when his health actually started to decline - and whether it was while he was still serving. Though no conclusions have been reached as yet, with Biden's spokespeople stating the diagnosis only came this month, Fox were keen to dig down into the case. Across the bottom of the screen, a breaking news strap read: "House Oversight Committee chairman James Colmer demands interviews with Biden's doc, other senior aides."

Anchor Sean Hannity began: "Here with the latest, House Oversight Committee chairman James Comber is with us. Chairman Colmer, let's start with the people that you in fact are going to have transcribed interviews with and the president's doctor Kevin O'Connor. I would imagine there are a lot of other people you want to talk to, too, but let's start with these five."

Colmer responded: "Obviously the physician, he's the one that continuously told America that Joe Biden was in tip-top physical condition, he was mentally sharp, he was physically sharp; we now know that to be 100% false.

"The four staffers aren't well known staffers, they operated behind the scenes but while we're starting with them, John, we believe these were the staffers responsible for using the auto pen. Someone got documents and manually placed them in the machine and pressed the power button to sign Joe Biden's signature. That was not Joe Biden. That was done by staffers, that would be done by any staffers. We believe and have good reason to believe these are the four staffers that were responsible for that."

As yet, there is no proof Biden used an auto pen - and at the moment they are simply allegations from current president . He provided no evidence for the claim, but Colmer doubled down live on-air.

He said: "We want to ask them who gave you the authority to use Joe Biden's signature, and we will go from there. Obviously we believe some of the names, the chief of staff and perhaps the First Lady were involved in a lot of the decision making. If that's where the trail leads then we'll bring them in as well. We're going to get answers to all the questions that every American deserves answers to."

Hannity responded: "You mentioned Jill Biden, Hunter Biden I assume will be called in. Hunter Biden had a pre-emptive pardon, so did his brother Jim Biden. I would assume they're not allowed to plead the fifth. Will every person you bring in be put under oath and do you think you're going to need to bring in these family members?"

And Colmer said: "We're going to see where the trail leads. Who was giving the authority for use of the auto pen?"
