Sharing a bed with someone isn't always the cosy, romantic picture it's made out to be. In fact, research from Eve Sleep reveals that 68% of people admit they get annoyed with their bed partner, whether it's fighting over the covers, clashing over room temperatures or dealing with different sleep habits.

With that in mind, Eve Sleep has come up with a clever solution: the Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet. This duvet zips neatly down the middle, allowing each side to be customised to personal preference. With eight different combinations to choose from, it'll help both sleepers get precisely what they want without compromise.

It's not just couples who benefit, though. For solo sleepers, the duvet adapts with the seasons. Keep it light with a 4.5 tog during spring and summer, switch to a cosier 9 tog for cooler weather, or zip the two together fora snug 13.5 tog come winter.

The duvet is filled with recycled anti-allergy fibres, making it an excellent pick for those with sensitive skin, and it's machine washable for ease. Available in four sizes (single, double, king and super king), prices range from £99 to £189.

For those keen to shop around, there are plenty more multi-way duvets to shop for. This Slumberland duvet (£59.99, double size) comes with two layers (4.5 and 9 tog) that can be combined using press studs to create a 13.5-tog winter-ready duvet. I've got it at home, and it's been a solid choice so far.

Otherwise, the Emma 4-Seasons Duvet(£140, double size) is another top-rated pick. Similar to the Slumberland duvet, it features two layers designed to adapt to varying temperatures. One happy customer said: "It's extremely versatile and comfortable. The quality is also excellent."

Back to the Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet,it has had some great reviews from shoppers. This person remarked: "I adore this duvet. Fantastic quality.

"Because of the stitching, the filling doesn't all move to one side like a standard hollowfibre duvet. There are multiple options, which is extremely helpful if you're peri-menopausal and need to be cooler in bed but your better half needs it warmer."

Meanwhile, a second person chimed in: "Super flexible, solves the problem of two people wanting different tog."

The duvet hasn't had any negative reviews as of yet, but some TrustPilot reviews indicate that not all shoppers are happy with customer service and delivery. This person said: "On the delivery date, the mattress arrived in damaged packaging; the box was completely ripped to shreds, and the vacuum-packed mattress packaging had been punctured in several places."

On a more positive note, this Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet fansaid: "I purchased the mattress, cover and quilt, and they have been a life changer, so comfortable and warm, the quilt is changeable for either side so that one can be warmer/colder than the other."
