A British teenager is fighting for his life after reportedly falling from the third floor of a building in . are still investigating the exact circumstances of the incident, which happened on Sunday evening.
The 18-year-old was found unconscious on the pavement in the island with severe injuries. The theory at the moment is that he fell from the third floor of the property above the street, but this has still to be clarified.
The emergency services received an alert around 9.47pm on Sunday. They rushed to the scene in Soledad Street in San Antonio amid reports of a "possible precipitation".
An advanced life support ambulance was sent to the scene. Medics stabilised the patient and transferred him at first to the Can Misses Hospital, where he was admitted at 11.51pm with head trauma and serious multiple injuries, as reported by the Ibiza and Formentera Health Area (Asef).
Once there and after being stabilised in the ICU, the teenager was transferred by helicopter to the Son Espases Hospital, in Mallorca, where he remains admitted to the Intensive Care Unit in a very serious condition, doctors have told Periodico de Ibiza.
The Civil Guard is investigating.
It is not yet known if the teenager was on holiday in Ibiza or living there.
