Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has probably faced one of the worst weeks of his life. Last Thursday, Buckingham Palace confirmed that King Charles was to strip his brother of his royal titles and his 30-room Royal Lodge mansion in Windsor, with the former prince having to move to the monarch's private Sandringham estate, out of sight and out of mind.
For Andrew, such a life change will be detrimental. Without his royal titles, his massive Crown Estate home, and even the company of his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, who no longer wants to live with him, who is he? This is something he will have to figure out.
However, while his reputation has plummeted to an all-time low, his downfall - which has come about as a result of scandals surrounding his previous association with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein - has actually lifted two other royals up.
While Andrew has denied accusations against him, the fact he was involved with Epstein - and has lied about things such as when he ceased contact with him - has shattered his public image into a thousand tiny splinters.
This has shone a very negative spotlight on him, which in turn has taken it away from two other unpopular royals - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
While Harry and his wife, who quit royal life in 2020 and moved to America, used to be criticised continuously by many royal fans, this has not been so common as of late.
With Andrew continuing to be hit by waves of public criticism, people seem to have forgotten all about Harry and Meghan, and the reasons they disliked them.
Because, well to put it simply, their "damage" to the monarchy through actions such as critical TV interviews and a docuseries, are nothing compared to the tidal wave of anti-monarchy sentiment that Andrew has brought upon the Palace.
While of course Harry and Meghan won't be coming at the top of the most popular royal polls, the Andrew saga has almost softened the blow they have faced since walking away from the Firm almost six years ago.
Will this continue when, and if, the Andrew drama ever ceases to go away? Only time will tell.
