Apart from Hindi, she has also sung songs in Marathi, Gujarati and Bengali languages. Asha Bhosle's first song: Asha Bhosle started her career in 1943 by singing for the Marathi film 'Majha Bal'. Her first Hindi song was 'Sawan Aaya', which she sang for the film 'Chunriya'. In 1949, at the age of 16, Asha Bhosle married Ganpatrao Bhosle, who was also her personal secretary.

Singing family: Asha Bhosle was born on 8 September 1933 in Sangli. Her father Deenanath Mangeshkar was a classical singer. Asha Bhosle also has two sisters and a brother, who were trained in singing by their father. Her elder sister Lata Mangeshkar is the Nightingale of Indian singing. Asha Bhosle's singing has also been unmatched and even today she has the courage to sing.
