Alia Bhatt is desperate for a big hit

Alia Bhatt, who was waiting for a blockbuster superhit movie after the Bollywood movie 'Kalank', has been dealt a blow by her latest movie 'Jigra'. At the same time, she does not have any other movie for a long time to improve her position in the brand market. These days, only one of her movies, 'Alpha,' is under production, and its release is going to happen at the end of the coming year. Her three-four movies have been in the news for a long time, but the shooting of any of them does not seem to start in the near future.

Reports say that Alia Bhatt's career progressed at a great pace till the year 2019. Alia had just cemented her position as the number one heroine of Hindi cinema by giving five back-to-back hit movies like 'Udta Punjab', 'Dear Zindagi', 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania', 'Raazi', and 'Gully Boy', but Dharma Productions' movie 'Kalank' stopped her pace for some time. Since then, Alia's film career has been struggling continuously. After 'Kalank', Alia worked in two more Dharma Productions movies like 'Brahmastra' and 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani', and there were a lot of discussions about the box office collection of these movies, just like the movie 'Jigra'.

During this time, her movie 'Sadak 2' was a super flop. 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' somehow reached the theatres with the financial support of producer Jayanti Lal Gada and almost did good business at the ticket window. Two of her movies were released directly on OTT, in which the film 'Darlings' also got a mixed response. People liked the work of Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah in it, but the presence of Vijay Verma and his monotonous acting harmed the movie. People do not even remember when 'Heart of Stone' came and when it went. 

Alia Bhatt also tried to enter South cinema through SS Rajamouli's movie 'RRR'. Her friendship with Junior NTR on the sets of this movie paved the way for the film 'War 2'. The conspiracy between Alia and her close director Ayan Mukherjee regarding Junior NTR also gave birth to 'Alpha'. But now, after the flop of 'Jigra', debates have already started in Yash Raj Films about whether the audience will like Alia's action avatar in 'Alpha' or not. 

If reports are to be believed, the expectations that Alia Bhatt had from 'Jigra' could not be fulfilled due to the audience being disappointed with the movie 'Saavi' based on the same story. Her PR team also tried its best to portray 'Jigra' as a good movie, but now the director of the film, Vasan Bala, has taken the responsibility for the film not doing well. He says that it is the director's responsibility to bring a film to the desired box office figures. Vasan has also closed his ex-account since then. The shooting of Alia's announced movie 'Love and War' has been postponed indefinitely. There is no noise in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's office regarding 'Inshallah' and work on 'Brahmastra 2' is going to be halted till the deal between Jio Studios and Fox Star Studios is completed.
