Giving information, the police said that a case has been registered in the matter. The girl and the accused are being searched. The atmosphere has remained tense since the incident.
According to the police, after a girl allegedly went missing in Kirtinagar area of the district, angry locals vandalised a young man's shop. The incident took place on Tuesday. The police have registered a case and started looking for the missing girl from late Monday night, and the accused youth is also being searched for. People angry with the incident are demanding action against some people of a particular community.

During this, angry protesters vandalized a young man's shop. The crowd also broke the hoardings of some other shops in the market. The protesters took out a rally from Kirti Nagar main market to Jakhani. In view of the possibility of tension, heavy police force was deployed in the market area. There is a lot of anger among the local people regarding the incident.
Police is searchingAfter the disappearance of the minor girl, her family has alleged love jihad. They say that the accused boy befriended their daughter by changing his name. Then he brainwashed her and took her with him. According to media reports, in this case, BJP leader Lakhpat Bhandari said that a minor girl of the city area was conspiratorially attracted towards a particular religion and an attempt was made to mislead her religiously. Accusing the police, he said that the police was informed about this earlier also but the police did not take any concrete action. He said that the accused in the case is absconding and the police has not been able to trace the girl till now.
