The much-awaited reality show Bigg Boss is gearing up for its 19th season, premiering on August 24 with Salman Khan returning as host. This season will be the longest ever, running for five months. Due to the extended duration, many prominent celebrities have declined offers to participate, making it challenging for the producers to finalize the contestant list.
So far, more than 45 celebrities have been approached, but the lengthy commitment has kept most from accepting. Among those invited is Shailesh Lodha, famously known for his role as Tarak Mehta in the popular TV show "Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah." Alongside him, social media gamer and influencer Payal Dhare, popularly known as Payal Gaming, has also received an offer. Both have yet to confirm their participation.
Initially, the producers had planned to exclude social media influencers from this season. However, with many celebrities opting out, the casting strategy shifted to include content creators and influencers to complete the lineup. It is speculated that this season may feature more social media personalities than traditional actors, reflecting a significant casting change for Salman Khan’s popular show.
