With the summer holidays fast approaching, Tesco is rolling out changes to its home delivery service that promise to ease the seasonal strain on families trying to balance work and family life while keeping the cupboards stocked.
In a ground breaking move, Tesco has extended availability for home delivery and Click+Collect slots to eight weeks in advance nationwide.
This means your usual planning window has been doubled.

If you're not one for planning your meals weeks in advance, fear not - Tesco hasn't forgotten about your need for flexibility.
Same-day delivery is still on offer alongside click and collect options, with the bonus of no extra charge for same-day service this sunny season.
In a bid to further support busy parents, Tesco has upgraded its service with an additional 15,000 Click+Collect slots from stores close to beloved holiday hotspots around the country, reports the Express.

Ths change meanms it will be easier to grab groceries on the way to the caravan or cottage, ensuring family feasts are never far away.
Rob Graham, Tesco Online Director said: “Summer holidays are a busy time for all of us as we juggle family life.
"From days out to BBQs and picnics, we’re helping customers across the UK make the most of the summer, delivering everything they need to enjoy at home or during their holiday stay.
“This is a great time to plan ahead and let Tesco take some of the stress away from those summer activities.”
