Strictly live tour 2025 cast shake-up as Shirley Ballas 'excited' by new signing

The next live tour for Strictly Come Dancing has now been announced and judge Shirley Ballas is "super excited" by a change to the panel following the line-up in previous years.

Most series of the BBC show have been followed by a live tour and it's been confirmed that the latest series - which launched on the weekend - will do too. The Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour will head to arenas in January and February.

It was announced on Tuesday, with tickets going on sale later this week. Shirley has been among those reacting to the news. Fellow judge Motsi Mabuse take part in the tour for the first time, with Shirley having previously appeared on the judging panel for the tour with just Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood.

Shirley posted about the tour on Instagram. She wrote: "No longer the only lady on tour! Super excited to have [Motsi] on board the @bbcstrictly tour bus for 2025 with naughty [Anton & Craig], the superstar that is @jmanrara and our cast of couples. I’m sure it’s going to be a tour like no other. Can’t wait to meet you all next year in the arenas. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 20th September from strictlycomedancinglive.com set those alarms and we’ll see you soon."

Motsi reacted to joining the tour in a post on her Instagram Story, writing: "Yes guys, I am joining the Strictly tour." She included a series of heart emojis in the post.

The tour's website teases: "Hold on to your sequins, shine up those dance shoes, and prepare for a show of pure glitz, glamour, and jaw-dropping excitement—because the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour is back, and it promises to be bigger, brighter, and more brilliant than ever!"

The line-up of celebrities and professional dancers is yet to be announced.

The tour will launch at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham on January 17 and run for three weeks, concluding at the O2 Arena in London on February 9. Over the course of the tour, the cast will perform in other cities including Glasgow and Manchester.
