Princess Andre finally reveals truth behind Katie Price birthday party 'ban'

Princess Andre was left feeling "awkward" over talk about her mum Katie Price missing her 18th birthday celebrations. The reality star has opened up about the 'feud'between her mum and her on her new show, The Princess Diaries.

Speaking on her reality show, she said: "I'm so tired, I literally woke up so early this morning and I had messages from my mum." She then referenced a number of comments and articles about Katie being 'banned' from Princess' 18th party.

"One, that is completely false and I would never say that about my mum. Me and my mum get on so well and we talk all the time. It's just a little bit awkward and it has put me in an awkward situation," Princess then said. It comes after Katie Price worries fans with appearance in family photo after explaining weight loss.

The articles came after Katie claimed she was not allowed to be seen with her daughterand said she wasn't allowed to attend the party because it was for "filming" and Katie doesn't feature in the reality show.

She said on her podcast: "Princess is now officially an adult so mummy and Princess can now go out together. If certain people would let her be seen with me ... Everyone knows she's doing this documentary - and I'm not in it.

"Certain people don't think it's good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me. It's pathetic. I'm her mother. It's sad ... Princess was like 'I'm having a party'. And I wasn't invited because it was for 'filming.'"

In her reality show, Princess then explained that her mum wasn't in the country and she had never badmouthed her mum. She said: "My mum's not even here. She's in Dubai. I've never once said in public or private bad things about my mum.

"I would find it so awkward and weird if my mum and dad were in the same room. Mum's not even here. I wouldn't choose to have my mum and dad at a party at the same time anyway."

She explained: "If I was having a party with my mum, my dad wouldn't be invited and if I was having a party with my dad, my mum wouldn't be invited and that's just how it is. It's not because I hate my mum. I just wouldn't want that because it's awkward."

Sources revealed to The Mirror that Katiemissed a planned morning meet-up with Princesson her 18th birthday to party abroad instead, with an insider sharing: "It was all in the diary but then Katie claimed she couldn’t make it as she was abroad.

"It was disappointing. For Katie to then say she was banned from the afternoon’s filmed party when she was the no-show in the morning is just beyond belief."

Another insider added: "It’s so unfair that Princess is going through all this when it is her show and it’s about her. Pete keeps quiet about the whole situation with Katie and just wants to support his children."
