The BBC's Oasis livestream has run into technical difficulties just hours before Liam and Noel Gallagher reunite on stage in Cardiff tonight. The iconic brothers will perform together again for the first time in 16 years as their nationwide tour kicks off this evening, with over 70,000 set to fill Cardiff's Principality Stadium.
While the BBC team are covering the build-up in a livestream on iPlayer, the broadcast faced difficulties with its sound early on in the show. Hosted by Tina Daheley and Jason Mohammad, the livestream welcomed former footballer Sean Dyche and coach Ian Woan into the Cardiff studio to chat about Oasis' return - however, they ran into issues with Sean's microphone.

Sean's audio quality dipped so the former Everton manager could not be heard, while voices from outside of the studio could be heard during the broadcast. Sean was then given a new microphone while the cameras cut to the Principality Stadium, with Jason saying: "We've got you a microphone now by the way."

Today's livestream sees the BBC team speak to fans heading into the concert as well as stars with connections to Liam and Noel, while after the concert, they will be getting live reviews from those coming out of the Principality Stadium.
Earlier today, Oasis surprised fans with who had been camping outside the Cardiff stadium ahead of tonight's gig by upgrading their tickets to VIP.
Lorraine correspondent Nick Dixon revealed on the ITV show that the band spotted the ticket-holders waiting outside the stadium to bag a space at the front of the stage. "It turns out that the band and the band's management had noticed the fact that they were there because all of a sudden, on the other side of the stadium, security rounded up the fans and moved them," he said.
"We were at first wondering, 'I hope they're not being turfed out, they've got tickets,' but actually security told me that the band spotted them and they've been moved to a different area - a VIP area. They've had a massive upgrade on their tickets which is fantastic for them. They've left here deliriously happy."
Earlier this week, the set list for Oasis' tour was revealed by a fan in Cardiff who had heard the pair rehearsing. They said on Reddit that the pair's setlist features 24 songs including Morning Glory, Fade Away, Supersonic, Roll With It and Bring It On Down.
