My Life With the Walter Boys fans were left a bit flustered when Alex Walter made his return in season two.
The first series on Netflix didn't end on a high note for Alex Walter (portrayed by Ashby Gentry), as he declared his love for Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez) who promptly left without bidding him farewell.

Unbeknownst to him, Jackie had rushed back to New York after sharing a passionate kiss with Alex's brother Cole Walter (Noah LaLonde).
Season two sees the entire Walter family making a comeback, but this time around, Alex appears somewhat transformed, having spent his summer at a rodeo camp in Montana.
Not only does he seem more muscular, he's also dressing better and exudes a newfound confidence, however, actor Ashby Gentry isn't convinced that these changes are entirely positive.
In an interview with Teen Vogue, he remarked: "[Alex] is practically a new person [in season 2], and in a way, it's great".
"I sometimes miss season one Alex because it does feel a little bit like he's gone.
"The new person there, I like parts of him and I don't like parts of him - just like I liked parts of the first one and didn't like parts of the second one.
"I'm a little worried for fans of Alex because he is not the same person anymore. That Alex from season one is not coming back. So it'll be interesting."
Discussing his remarkable transformation, the 26-year-old revealed that he simply returned to his regular lifestyle habits from before filming the first series.
He told People: "It's not so much that I did stuff this season. It's more so that I did stuff before, in season one.
"In season one, I lost a lot of weight and stopped going to the gym because I viewed Alex as a skinnier ... I viewed Cole as this traditionally masculine figure, and I viewed Alex as - he's a gamer. He is not out here doing pull-ups."
He added: "A lot of my research and prep for season two was very physical.

"It was researching glow-up stuff. I tried, over the summer, four different hairstyles to see which one I liked. I went to the gym.
"I got in really good shape. I made sure my skin was very on point."
Whilst viewers were delighted to witness another dimension of Alex, Gentry didn't originally perceive the storyline progression as favourable.
"It is definitely difficult to not interpret it as a backhanded compliment," he observed.
"Especially when there are lines in the show directly saying that I've gotten hotter, when I'm like, 'I look the same. I did not change.'"
My Life With the Walter Boys has fortunately already secured confirmation for a third series following the second season finale's dramatic cliffhanger ending.
In a dramatic twist, Alex caught Jackie confessing her love for Cole, while George Walter's (Marc Blucas) life teeters on the edge, with a concerned Will Walter (Johnny Link) rushing to the scene with an ambulance.
My Life With the Walter Boys is available to watch on Netflix.
