When Sophie Habboo stepped onto the red carpet at The Roses premiere last month, all eyes were on her radiant complexion - and it wasn’t just her pregnancy glow, either. The reality star and podcast host has revealed the one beauty product she has ‘used all summer’ to achieve beautifully illuminated skin, and it costs less than £9.
At the premiere, Sophie’s glam was in the hands of her sister (and makeup artist) Georgia, who was spotted applying a glow-giving formula to Sophie’s skin before she hit the red carpet. And judging by Sophie’s radiant look on the night, it’s safe to say it worked.
The product in question is Max Factor’s new Glow Framer Bronzing and Illuminating Tint. Released earlier this month, the product is usually £10.99, but has been reduced to £8.99 at Boots for a limited time (price correct at the time of writing).

Available in six shades, it’s designed to suit a wide range of skin tones, blending seamlessly without ever feeling heavy or cakey. The ‘weightless’ formula is said to be the ‘ultimate hack’ to achieving a multidimensional glow in one easy step.
It combines bronzing pigments with opalescent shimmer, giving that ‘just-back-from-holiday’ look to the skin. Plus it can be used in multiple ways for varying effects, from all over as a radiant skin tint, under makeup for a ‘lit from within’ base, or on the high points of the face as a highlight.
The Max Factor product could potentially prove to be a more affordable alternative to Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter, which has long been a favourite among A-listers for major events.
Priced at £39, it comes in 12 shades - twice as many as Max Factor - and works to prime and highlight while offering light coverage. It’s also said to blur the appearance of pores and fine lines for a smooth finish, and is infused with skin care ingredients like glycerin and squalane to hydrate while it wears.
Elsewhere, L’Oreal Paris’ Glotion is usually £11.99 but has been reduced to £10.19 at LookFantastic. Performing as a primer, foundation, highlighter and contour, the skin tint is blended with glycerin and shea butter to provide up to 24 hours of hydration, however, it comes in fewer shades, with only four available.
Max Factor’s Glow Framer Bronzing and Illuminating Tint has fast become a must-have in Sophie’s kit for events. “Guys, this is everything I love in a product,” she told her one million Instagram followers. “I genuinely have used this all summer since I first tried it and I love it so much - I’m so excited for people to try it.”
And she’s not the only one either. On the Boots website, the formula has racked up an impressive 4.3 star rating, with one shopper commenting: “Lovely product to use. Gives a nice glow when worn even without any foundation underneath. Nice colour and shine to it.”
“I have used this product in multiple different ways lately,” said another. “I've used it under my make up and above like a hi lighter. It's lightweight and buildable. It's got just the right amount of shimmer which makes it look very classy. I would definitely recommend.”
Not everyone has enjoyed using it as much, though, with some finding the product too ‘thin’. One review read: “Overall I didn’t enjoy using this product. I felt it was quite thin and didn’t sit well on my skin. I applied the product as recommended but didn’t like the texture or find the end result very flattering. The colour was a good match with my skin tone and I like the packaging.”
A fourth shared: “This gives a glowy finish whilst still maintaining a natural look. It’s light weight and blends into your skin well making skin look healthy and fresh. I would recommend for anyone who likes to blur the skin to enhance their natural look.”
Shoppers can pick up Max Factor’s Glow Framer on offer for £8.99 at Boots.
