If playing the lottery, you're trying your luck at winning some money – whether it be small change or a quantity much larger.
The problem is, there are people all over the country who are also hoping to win big on the lottery, making the odds seem miniscule.
Yet, WDW Bingo has pinpointed three UK cities where people tend to be luckier when it comes to playing the lottery.

Creating a "jackpot score" out of 100, the team based their research on two main factors – the number of people who have historically won over £1million when picking their lucky numbers and those who have won £50,000 from playing the game.
The analysis also took into account how many people search for lottery wins online.
The resultsGlasgow was ranked as the third luckiest city for lottery wins. According to the data, around 12% of every 100,000 residents in Glasgow have won more than a million pounds on the lottery.
In the same group, it suggests that over 71% have struck it lucky by winning £50,000, reports the Express.

Portsmouth is another city considered lucky, with more than 13% of 100,000 residents having won more than £1million on the lottery. But the top spot for hopeful big winners is Newcastle.
Newcastle holds the record for the highest number of people who have won more than £50,000 on a lottery ticket.
Harrison Score, Head of WDW Bingo, shared his thoughts on the findings. "When it comes to the lottery, it's clear that some places have a winning track record," he said.
"Our analysis shows that factors like a high number of jackpot winners and an enthusiastic community that regularly checks for results all contribute to a city's luck.
"This study isn't just about who has won the most; it's about a city's collective spirit and hope for a big win."
