It comes as Eric spoke out about his ALS diagnosis, revealing is continuing to pursue work - with filming for the latest season of Euphoria starting next week. He said: "I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter."

According to the , Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is the most common type of motor neurone disease (MND). Early symptoms include muscle weakness in the arms and legs that can cause you to trip and drop things. While there is no cure for the condition, a medicine called riluzole can help slow down its progression.

MND affects nerves in the brain and spinal cord called motor neurones, which tell your muscles what to do. It is unclear why this happens, but the NHS suggests that it is thought that a combination of certain genes and other factors are involved.

As the condition gets worse, those with MND may experience problems with breathing, swallowing and speaking, undergo changes in their mood and personality and be unable to walk or move.

Eric, who was in Bad Boys: Ride or Die last year, has received a flood of messages of support on social media since his exclusive interview with concerning his health journey.

The news of Eric's diagnosis has hit fans hard, particularly given the actor's popularity which soared after his chillingly brilliant portrayal of the manipulative business tycoon Cal Jacobs in Euphoria.
