Conor Maynard has candidly opened up on a scary health ordeal that left him and his girlfriend in a panic. The singer, 32, took to Instagram to inform his followers of his situation as he uploaded a worrying looking snap of him on a stretcher.
The Can't Say No hitmaker admitted he had been left "screaming in pain". And he confirmed that the incident had let him "pretty quiet over the last few months".
Taking to his social media account, Conor said he wanted to tell his followers why he had been off-grid slightly. This comes months after he had vowed to "tell his side of the story" after his Charlotte Chilton baby drama.

He wrote on social media on Monday: "So I thought I'd explain why I've been pretty quiet over the last few months, and why I released one song in May and then seemingly disappeared when the original plan was to post a string of songs for you guys.
"I posted earlier this year that I was experiencing issues with my back, and it has been quite the journey."
He commented over the top of an image of himself being carried on a stretcher while there was also a picture of a cannula in his arm. The star went on to explain how he had informed them earlier in the year of an issue with his back, calling it "quite the journey". He later confirmed the issue was a "bulging disc between my L5-S1".
After thanking fans for their concern and well wishes at the time, he made sure to stress that just because this was his story, it wouldn't automatically be the same for others with a similar issue.
"I tried going to a chiropractor for around 3-4 weeks," he said, before saying he didn't feel as though it was helping. This led to the singer having Epidural Steroid Injections.
While he claimed some days he would feel better, he said at times there was no change. "Then over this weekend just gone, I had a random coughing fit," he confided, "and it sent the most INTENSE pain to the problem area and down my right leg.
"It completely made my legs buckle but luckily I was standing next to my sofa so I had something soft to fall onto lol."
Conor said he was unable to find a position that kept him comfortable, leaving him to "scream out loud in pain". The issue left him losing the colour in his face, leading to a panic moment for his girlfriend, who called him an ambulance.
He continued: "The annoying thing about this kind of injury is that there isn't much that can be done immediately other than try to manage the pain, and then make more long-term recovery attempts.
"Right now it's looking like surgery is the only option but obviously that's kind of scary lol."
Conor explained how the ordeal has affected his life in "so many ways," including looking after his new puppy. But he also admitted that it had left filming any new music content "nearly impossible" as he can't hold up a camera.
And in his everyday life, Conor admits it is stopping him take part in any of his hobbies, such as football and padel.
He concluded by telling his fans "tips are still always welcome" as he tries to navigate his issue. "Hoping I'm back to fighting fit asap and doing the things I love, releasing music for all of you as soon as I can."
