CBB fans shocked watching JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes grilled over close friendship

fans were in shock watching Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa's get grilled over during their exit interview on Friday night's live final.

Love Island's Chris and singer and dancer JoJo's close friendship has become one of the most talked about moments of the 2025 series - especially as JoJo is currently. Kath has stayed quiet on social media ever since JoJo and Chris' 'flirty friendship' has aired - and fans were wondering if she would be at the final to greet the Dance Moms star.

Their friendship was proven divisive in both the CBB house and with viewers as the pair cuddled in bed, danced, gave each other messages and were glued to each other's sides.

On Friday, Chris came in sixth place and was immediately asked about his relationship with 21-year-old singer JoJo.

During his interview, Chris said: "JoJo was like a pure rock to me. She was someone that I could have fun with. That to me was a beautiful friendship.

"She said to me last night you're someone in my life I didn't know I needed," Chris then broke into tears as he said: "she reminded me a lot of...."

"The thing that fascinates me the most about her is not the things she's done, it's what she's been through when she was a teenager and that's similar to what my ex-girlfriend went through.

"Seeing how they are both similarly as... in the respect that she's come through a lot and she's just a purely nice person. The similarity is in the personality. How nice they are, how loving they are and how caring they are.

"From a friendship point of view, of course I love her," Chris said of JoJo.

Not long after, Speaking to and , she opened up about with Chris Hughes as she left the house in third place.

She said she "absolutely loved and adored Chris" and that he would be in her life forever now. "He's helped me create my happiness in this house, he's more than a friend, we had a lot of fun."

Fans were divided by the exit interviews, with one rushing to X to write: "I haven’t watched any of so am confused by AJ’s questioning of Chris and JoJo about their relationship. According to how she interviewed Chris they’ve done something wrong and she really drilled him yet it was all sunshine & rainbows for JoJo? Seems unfair."

Another was convinced their relationship could blossom into something more, writing: "“I walked out of here with a beautiful relationship". I wouldn't be surprised if Jojo and Chris's relationship progresses into lovers. Watch the space."

"It’s strange how they’ve not said to Jojo was it not a friendship just at Chris bless him," one said and another posted: "I hope the so called JoJo defenders in the crowd booing Chris feel bad now seeing how much love JoJo has for him."
