VVS Laxman: Indian team is currently on a tour of South Africa. Where a series of 4 T20 matches is being played between South Africa and India. Team India's regular head coach Gautam Gambhir has not gone on the South Africa tour due to the Test series to be played with Australia from 22 November.
Due to which BCCI has sent Team India's acting head coach VVS Laxman on the South Africa tour. Team India has performed brilliantly many times under Laxman's coaching. However, on the Africa tour, VVS Laxman is now doing as he pleases as the head coach and is giving a chance to a player who is not fit to play Ranji in the series against Africa.

Indian team's acting head coach VVS Laxman gave a chance to Team India's young batsman Abhishek Sharma in the playing 11 in the first match played against South Africa at the Durban ground. But Abhishek Sharma could not do anything special.
Due to which some Indian fans are trolling him fiercely. While some fans on social media believe that Abhishek Sharma is not even worthy of playing in Ranji Trophy and Laxman is giving him a chance in this T20 series on his stubbornness.
Flopped in the first match
The first match of the 4-match T20 series between South Africa and India was played on 8 November at the Durban ground. In which Team India won easily and took a 1-0 lead in the series.
However, in the first match, Team India's opening batsman Abhishek Sharma could not do anything special and was out after scoring just 7 runs. Due to which he can now be dropped from the second T20 match. In the first match, Team India was successful in winning by 61 runs.
This has been the performance so far
Indian team's young batsman Abhishek Sharma's performance in the T20 format has not been special. Because, Abhishek Sharma has played 9 T20 matches for India so far. In which he got a chance to bat in 8 innings and he scored 166 runs at an average of 20. Whereas during this time he scored a century in only 1 innings. Which means that in the remaining 7 innings, only 66 runs came from his bat.
