The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced an important update to the JEE Main 2025 application form. In response to issues faced by students with mismatched names between their Aadhaar card and 10th-grade certificates, NTA has added a new feature to facilitate smoother form submission.
New Feature to Address Name Mismatch
Many students have reported difficulties completing the JEE Main 2025 application due to discrepancies in name spelling across their documents. When these students tried to fill out the form, the system would prevent submission due to the name mismatch. After receiving numerous requests for a solution, NTA has now added a new option in the application process.
How to Use the New Feature
Now, if students encounter a mismatch notification upon selecting "Confirm Name As Per Aadhaar," they can close the message and proceed to a new window. In this window, students are required to enter their name as it appears on their Aadhaar card. The system will then capture the name as listed on both the Aadhaar and the educational certificate, allowing the form to be completed without further issues.
The last date to complete the JEE Main form on NTA’s official websites, and , is November 22, 2024. According to the schedule, the first session of the JEE Main 2025 Exam will be held from January 22 to January 31, 2025.
