Aam Panna Recipe: Summer has arrived and everyone is troubled by this scorching sun. In such a situation, the danger of heat stroke also looms over people. In this scorching heat, it is very important to keep the body hydrated and cool. In such a situation, today we are going to tell you the recipe of Aam Panna which will protect you from both heat and heat stroke.
Material
- Raw mangoes (kairi) – 2-3 medium size (you can take more than that)
- Sugar or jaggery - as per taste (about 4-6 tbsp)
- Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Black salt – 1/2 tsp
- Plain salt - as per taste
- Mint leaves – 10 to 12
- Water – as required
- Ice cubes – you can take as per your requirement.
- Boil the mangoes: First of all wash the raw mangoes thoroughly. Then add water in a vessel and boil the mangoes till they become soft. If you want, you can also boil them in a pressure cooker till 2-3 whistles.
- Extract the pulp: When the mangoes cool down, peel them and take out the pulp and collect it in a bowl. Remove the seed.
- Make puree: Put the extracted pulp in a mixer or blender, add some water and grind it well to make a fine puree.
- Add spices: Now add sugar or jaggery (as per your choice), roasted cumin powder, black salt and plain salt to this puree and mix well. Let the sugar or jaggery dissolve completely.
- Add mint: Wash the mint leaves and chop them finely or grind them in a mixer by adding some water. Mix this mint paste in mango puree.
- Add water: Add cold water as needed. You can keep it thick or thin as per your preference.
- Strain (optional): If you feel any fibers or particles in the mixture, you can strain it.
- Chill: Keep the prepared Mango Panna in the fridge to cool it well or add ice cubes and enjoy the chilled Mango Panna.
