The deceased's family has alleged that the woman's husband Harish and his family members used to beat her sister and harass her repeatedly for dowry.
Threatened by making obscene videos
In the complaint given to the police, the woman's brother has told that his sister was threatened by the in-laws to make obscene videos and make them viral on social media. Hurt by this, his sister committed suicide by hanging herself in the kitchen. The suicide note found near the deceased woman reads that I am giving up my life. My in-laws beat me up and drove me away. My in-laws also made dirty videos of me.
