Here a husband madly in love with two young women brutally murdered his wife. The accused along with his two girlfriends killed his wife by giving her an overdose of anesthesia. According to media reports, after the cause of death was revealed in the post-mortem, the took action and arrested the accused husband. He confessed his crime while in custody. As per the information, the wife was heartbroken when she found out that her husband Pradyumna Kumar Das was having an affair with two other women. They both argued this, after which Subhashree went to her maternal home. However, the accused husband convinced her on 28 October and brought her to his girlfriend Rosie Patra's .

If media reports are to be believed, Rosie and another girlfriend Ajeeta Bhuiyan were already present there. As per the plan, they injected anesthesia to Subhashree. Injections were given twice on her neck and waist. Rosie and Ajeeta work at a medical shop, so they did not have any problem getting anesthesia. After this, the woman died due to an overdose of anesthesia. However, to make the murder look like a suicide, the accused husband took Subhashree to the and told that his wife had consumed poison. The accused husband also informed the and said that his wife tried to commit suicide. During this, she died. However, when the woman's post-mortem report came, the was stunned. The report revealed that there were black spots on the woman's hands and neck and she died due to overdose of anesthesia.
