The   Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament, has announced recruitment for Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) positions. The board aims to protect investor interests, promote market development, and regulate the securities market.   
   
Mode of selection
   
The recruitment process will be conducted in three stages:
     
   
   
Probation period
   
Selected candidates will undergo a probation period of two years. Confirmation in SEBI’s service will depend on satisfactory performance during this period.
     
Age limit
   
The upper age limit is 30 years as on September 30, 2025 (born on or after October 1, 1995), with relaxations of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates (if applicable).
   
Important dates to remember
   
   
Candidates may apply for a maximum of two eligible streams based on their educational qualifications. Separate applications and fees must be submitted for each stream. Multiple applications for a single stream or more than two streams will result in only the latest valid submission being considered.
   
Pay scale and emoluments
The pay scale for Grade A officers is ₹62,500 - 3600 (4) - 76,900 - 4050 (7) - 1,05,250 - EB - 4050 (4) - 1,21,450 - 4650 (1) - 1,26,100 [17 years].

Officers are entitled to benefits such as Leave Fare Concession, medical reimbursement, eye refraction, knowledge upgradation allowance, briefcase and conveyance reimbursement, house cleaning allowance, staff furnishing scheme, computer purchase scheme, and subsidized lunch facility, among others.
   
Accommodation and posting
   
Residential accommodation will be provided based on availability. Selected officers may be posted or transferred to any SEBI office across India and assigned to any department irrespective of their stream.

- Phase II: Online examination with two papers of 100 marks each.
- Phase III: Interview round.
