Thudarum makes an impact at the box office

Thudarum, starring Mohanlal, is off to a good start at the domestic box office. According to Sacnilk, a trade website, the film earned Rs 5.25 crore (nett) on the first day. The vast majority of this came from Kerala, Mohanlal’s home state.

Thudarum has received favourable reviews with critics lauding the performances and the storyline. This is expected to help it pack a punch on the weekend. Thudarum also benefited from the blockbuster response to L2 Empuraan, which hit the screens last month and collected nearly Rs 260 crore globally. It’s success helped Mohanlal bounce back after a series of flops.
