PM YASASVI Scholarship 2025: The Prime Minister Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme 2025 has started. Candidates can apply for it till 31 August.
Now with the aim of encouraging the promising students of the country and removing their financial problems, the central government has once again started the Prime Minister Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme 2025 (PM YASASVI Scholarship 2025). Under this scheme, meritorious students of OBC (Other Backward Classes) community will be given scholarships ranging from Rs 75,000 to Rs 1,25,000.
Who can apply?
This scholarship is especially for those students who are currently studying in class 9 or 11 and come from OBC category. But caste certificate alone is not enough. Along with this, some important conditions will also have to be fulfilled. The annual income of the student's parents should not exceed 2.5 lakhs.
The student should be studying in a school which has given 100 percent board results in class 10th and 12th in the past years. If you meet these criteria, then this scholarship can be a golden opportunity for you.
How much scholarship will be given?
Under the Pradhan Mantri Yashasvi Yojana, class 9 students will get a scholarship of Rs 75,000, class 11 students will get a scholarship of Rs 1,25,000. This amount will be sent entirely to the bank accounts linked to the Aadhaar of the students through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Last date of application
The last date for online application has been fixed as 31 August 2025. In such a situation, eligible students are advised not to wait for the last date and complete the registration process as soon as possible.
How to apply?
Candidates should first register by visiting the NSP portal scholarships.gov.in. For this, first download the "NSP OTR" app (available on Google Play Store). Get the One Time Registration (OTR) number by doing Aadhaar based face authentication through the app. Mobile number linked to Aadhaar card is necessary. If the student is a minor and does not have Aadhaar, then the Aadhaar of the parents can be used.
