Vacancy Details

A total of 30 vacancies have been announced, divided across categories:

  • General: 16 posts

  • Scheduled Caste (SC): 4 posts

  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): 2 posts

  • Other Backward Classes (OBC – Non-Creamy Layer): 8 posts

Eligibility Criteria
  • Educational Qualification: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

  • Skills Required:

    • Proficiency in English shorthand at 120 words per minute.

    • Computer typing speed of 40 words per minute.

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in stenography or related secretarial roles.

  • Age Limit: Candidates must be 30 to 45 years old. Reserved categories are eligible for age relaxation as per government norms.

    Selection Process

    The recruitment process involves five stages:

  • Shorthand Test (English) – 100 marks: Candidates must transcribe at 120 words per minute for 7 minutes. Maximum of 5 mistakes allowed. At least 50 marks required to qualify.

  • Objective-Type Written Test – 100 questions, 2 hours:

    • General English: 25 questions

    • General Knowledge: 25 questions

    • Judiciary-related provisions in the Constitution: 25 questions

    • Supreme Court Rules, 2013: 15 questions

    • Computer knowledge: 10 questions
      (Minimum 50 marks required to qualify)

  • Computer Typing Test – 20 marks: Minimum speed of 40 wpm. General candidates must score 10 marks, while reserved category candidates need at least 5 marks.

  • Interview – 30 marks: Qualifying benchmark is 15 marks for General and 13 marks for reserved categories.

  • Degree Weightage – Candidates holding a Law degree from a recognized university will receive an additional 3 marks.
