Trent Alexander-Arnold stuns Jamie Carragher with price of hair cut after Micah Richards question

Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has stunned former Reds legend Jamie Carragher by revealing just how much he pays for his haircut.

On Tuesday night, the Reds returned to action in the Champions League, with Arne Slot's side coming from 1-0 down to beat AC Milan 3-1 in a convincing victory at San Siro. Despite going a goal behind through Christian Pulisic on three minutes, goals from defenders Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk put Liverpool ahead going into the break.

And then they wrapped up proceedings just after the hour mark when Dominik Szoboszlai turned home Cody Gakpo's cross. After the game, Alexander-Arnold was put front and center for an interview with CBS for their Champions League coverage.

Presented by broadcaster Kate Scott, CBS has produced plenty of viral moments since they started up their Champions League show, thanks in part to the chemistry the former and her three pundits on the panel, Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards have.

And on Tuesday they produced another hilarious moment when Carragher found out just how much Alexander-Arnold had paid for his new haircut.

"We've got the boring stuff out of the way now Trent, let's talk about the real stuff," Richards said with an infectious smile, before adding: "The haircut, the barber, the trim, it's looking quite fly if I must say so myself."

Alexander-Arnold then replied with a cheeky grin: "A little bit fresh?" "Yeah!" Richards shouted back before laughing heartily. Carragher then interjected: "How much are we talking Trent? That's always the big question on the show, what's the number? We know what Micah's is!"

"What is Micah's?" replied Alexander-Arnold, before Carragher interjected: "What's yours?" Richards then said: "$200." That then prompted presenter Kate Scott to enter the discussion, with the broadcaster calling Richards out. "Why are you always changing your story? He said $300 last season Trent."

"No, I pay £100 for this," said Alexander-Arnold. "100?! In Liverpool?!" replied Carragher. "Yeah, they come to me as well. If I went to them it'd be even cheaper."

Liverpool.com says: "Sometimes it's nice to see these lighter interviews, like CBS tend to do on their show with Scott, Henry, Carragher and Richards. That said, we wouldn't be paying $200 for our haircuts like Richards does..."
