Tensions rise in Big Brother house as Segun's brutal remark divides housemates

Send Push

Big Brother's latest episode descended into mayhem when Segun's harsh words caused a rift in the house, and three additional rule breaks came to light.

The atmosphere was already tense in the iconic house as it was disclosed last night (Monday, October 21) that Khaled is up for eviction this coming Friday alongside Izaaz, Nathan, and Marcello.

Ali and Dean were safe from the chop after securing their spots as Heads of House, a move that didn't sit well with some of their fellow contestants.

Initially, they paired Lily with Hannah in what seemed like a tactic to protect 20 year old Lily from facing eviction for another week.

But then there was a twist in their strategy - they opted to safeguard Hannah and Lily, nominating Khaled and Marcello for eviction instead.

reports how in tonight's episode, sides are now forming in the house, after Khaled and Marcello were put up for eviction despite not receiving any nominations.

The choice led to fiery debates within the group, and Segun, along with Hannah and Khaled, ended up flouting a significant rule by discussing the most recent evictee and conspiring against Ali.

While conferring with Marcello, Hannah said: "If you and Marcello stay in and everything, I need the next HoH to be this group."

Segun concurred with Hannah's sentiment, adding: "Yeah I think Marcello said it as well, he was like if I stay in, she (Ali) goes next week."

The situation escalated when Segun made a cutting comment, stating: "I hear it. I can't lie, we need to get rid of this wolf man. The red witch is coming".

Drama unfolded in the latest episode when it was revealed that a trio of housemates had broken one of the game's cardinal rules. Big Brother summoned everyone to the living room and broadcast the incriminating conversation through the speakers, leaving the housemates utterly shocked.

Ali tried to downplay the drama, seemingly laughing off the discussion, but Big Brother wasn't having any of it, delivering a stern rebuke: "Housemates... When will you learn?

"There have been multiple rule breaks regarding the discussion of nominations."

The housemates were punished by being put on a diet of porridge and no one was pleased. Later on in the show Segun apologised to Ali and the pair were on good terms again.

Big Brother airs weekdays from 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
