Pregnant Charlotte Dawson drops huge baby bombshell after fiancée's sext scandal

Charlotte Dawson has just discovered whether she'll be adding a little boy or girl to her family, coming after teasing fans with a major gender hint earlier on.

Charlotte, 31, who is a proud mum to Noah, 3, and one-year-old June, alongside her fiance Matt Sarsfield, hinted last week that certain pregnancy cravings might suggest she's expecting a daughter this time around.

The telly favourite has now admitted to her followers that she knows the sex of her upcoming bundle of joy; however, she's keeping it under wraps for just a bit longer.

With an adorable picture posed with her son Noah, Charlotte posted on Instagram: "We went for the gender scan yesterday [blue and pink hearts emoji]. Now we fully know, can't wait to show you all soon. Promise I won't keep you waiting too long. Just want to do a cute gender reveal."

Despite the joy of pregnancy, Charlotte has been caught in personal strife after discovering Matt's sexting scandal with another woman. Amidst this tough period, she revealed her desire to welcome a baby girl into their family of boys and expressed her hope that it might encourage Matt to show greater respect towards women.

Charlotte opened up about the unexpected nature of her pregnancy, mentioning it wasn't planned quite yet and that their happiness was slightly tainted by the repercussions of Matt's texting fiasco, reports OK!.

The devastating revelations came to light when Charlotte's manager notified her, following the other woman's decision to take the story public, leaving Charlotte reeling: "It's meant to be the most exciting time of your life, but this whole situation has been such a shock, Charlotte told OK! "I'd almost forgotten I was pregnant."

The couple decided to get hitched in 2020 after Matt put a ring on it, despite previously kicked him out for a short period. Charlotte has been proudly showing off her pregnancy journey on Instagram and recently gave the world a glimpse of her baby bump outdoors. She was looking stunning in maternity fashion as she donned a leopard print top partnered with edgy leather trousers and a fedora hat.

On her own podcast, Charlotte recently spilled all the tea about her pregnancy and even joined Celebrity Big Brother's king David Potts on his show. There, she dropped the news that she's set to be the "first pregnant panto star" as she preps for her role in Aladdin. "I am going to be doing panto again with a full bump," said Charlotte. David couldn't help but react with: "That's iconic!"
