Having moved back to the top of the table by beating Brighton this weekend, is exactly where would want to be in the midst of a .

But while the fixture schedule doesn't relent any time soon — and there are two more big games this week in the form of Bayer Leverkusen and Aston Villa, who both come to Anfield — Liverpool is showing no signs of slowing down. After a poor first half against Brighton, and were sent on to turn things around.

In the Premier League, after Aston Villa and the international break, comes a trip to Southampton. Manchester City (H), Newcastle United (A), Everton (A) and Fulham (H) follow that — more tricky games, but more chances to lay down a marker.
